Seniors Amanda Fioravanti and Lindsey Spann from the Our Lady of Good Counsel High School girls basketball team were among the nominees announced Thursday for the 2013 McDonald’s All-American Game. The final 24-player roster for the girls game will be announced February 14 during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU. The game will be played April 3 at the United Center in Chicago.
Fioravanti, a 6′ 1″ forward, has signed on to play at the University of Virginia next year while Spann, a 5′ 6″ point guard, is bound for Penn State.
The Falcons (14-3, 7-2 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference) are defending WCAC champions.
