Northwest 6, Bethesda-Chevy Chase 0: Brian Rourke pitched a complete game and the Northwest infield turned four double plays as the visiting Jaguars shut out the Barons, 6-0, on Saturday. Rourke, a junior, allowed seven hits, struck out three and walked one in seven innings.
Northwest scored four runs in the top of the first inning and added single runs in the fourth and seventh, all charged to B-CC starting pitcher Joe Feldman. Feldman struggled with his control all game, walking three batters, hitting two others and committing a throwing error on a pickoff attempt at first base.
