POOLESVILLE, Md. — Hunter Pearre allowed only four hits and struck out seven in seven innings to lead the Poolesville High School baseball team to a 7-0 victory over visiting Seneca Valley on Saturday.
Center fielder Thayer Seely pulled a first-pitch two-run home run over the right-field fence with one out in the bottom of the first inning to give the Falcons all the offense they would need. Poolesville added five runs in the sixth inning on the way to their fifth consecutive win.
