The Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School boys soccer team will lose junior Collin Martin a year earlier than expected, as it has been announced that the standout midfielder will graduate a year early in order to play for Wake Forest University in the fall.
From the Wake Forest website:
The 2012 recruiting class for Wake Forest men’s soccer, already ranked among the top five classes in the country by several websites, picked up yet another highly-touted commitment on Tuesday, March 27 when Collin Martin committed to the Demon Deacons for the 2012 season.
The third-ranked player in the class of 2013 by College Soccer News and the lone high school junior to train with the U.S. Soccer U-20 squad in January, Martin will graduate from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Maryland one year ahead of schedule and will round out the Deacs’ incoming class of eight players.
