The Blair High School girls lacrosse team made it close late in the game after trailing by three goals at halftime Saturday afternoon, but host Bethesda-Chevy Chase held on for an 11-10 win behind five goals and one assist from senior Lillian Herrick-Reynolds.

Sophomore midfielder Emily Stoll added three goals and Leanne Klock made 11 saves for the Barons (2-0).

Both teams will be in action again Monday, when B-CC will travel to play Rockville while Blair (1-1) will host Gaithersburg.
